Draconid

Just one of my many random creaures I'm hoping to sell as an adoptable. 

While not being related to Dragons, the Draconid does share some features and abilities. They don't produce fire, but instead spit "smoke bombs" that they produce in a special throat pouch when they feel threatened. This causes a cloud of smoke to burst forth for a speedy get away. They also hold the ability of flight through magic, much like the wingless Oriental Dragons. 

Draconid are deer-like in that they are cautious of other creatures, but only attack when needed. Instead of males fighting for a mate, they grow large antlers and perform feats for the ladies. Normally highly involved aerial acrobatics. 

All have retractable claws in their fore-paws, and hooves for their hind-feet. Rather large creatures, measuring in at 20 feet in length and 10 feet in height once fully matured. Females tend to have more simplified antlers and markings, while males stand out with more ornate features.
